The Bioeconomics Review (ISSN 2612-257X), which will publish writings by the major environmental economists at international level, aims to contribute to deepening, alongside epistemological problems, environmental issues such as the so-called sustainable development, energy issues and environmental emergencies, making use of a new approach, that of the bioeconomy, as outlined by the greatest environmental economist of the 20th century, Nicholas Georgescu-Roegen, a scholar who tackles environmental issues in an organic way, in the light of the most recent developments in science, with an interdisciplinary, global and innovative approach.
