He received honorary degrees in Economic and Social Sciences from the University of Molise and in Economics and Commerce from the universities of Bari and Foggia. He has carried out research activities in the field of commodities, with particular reference to the analysis of the cycle of goods, the relationships between production, consumption and consequent recycling of waste.
