Bioeconomics Review Editorial

Abstract

As an online publication, Bioeconomics Review will be visible worldwide, which will clearly help people to become aware of the publication. Articles that contributed to the reputation of the original magazine will be republished, and, taking the indications of these leading academics as a starting point, the impetus which determined developments in the bioeconomy at the time will be investigated, in order to analyse a decline that was as quick as it was incomprehensible. Thus, an in depth study will be made of concerns regarding agricultural and environmental conditions, as well as the potential that this situation presents, in terms of economics and employment, in articles that present a practical approach to the problems faced. The various types of renewable energy that have been tested or rediscovered in the context of the current energy system will also be analysed, along with the opportunities they can provide, if appropriately and regularly integrated into the economic circuit. Furthermore, we also aim to analyze the institutional designs that are implemented when investments are made in the sector at the national, EU, and international levels.
