ITALY: THE LONG ENERGETIC WINTER. WHAT POSSIBLE SOLUTION TO THE CURRENT DILEMMA?

Abstract

Energy represents the fulcrum of all known human activities and it also makes every natural phenomenon possible. It is therefore an inseparable element of the life present on our planet. Throughout the different historical periods, humankind  has increasingly used our resources in order to produce energy in ever more varied ways to meet our growing needs. Over time, all this has led to an increasing consumption of energy but also to a better efficiency in its use. At the same time, this has determined the need to find an energy mix suited to the needs of present and future generations, as well as to the current needs in the environmental field.
