Abstract

This article builds on and expands on the author's previous work, published in Volume VI, No. 2, 2023. It is his final contribution to this field, as he is about to step down as editor of “Bioeconomics Review” to take up another prestigious position. It can therefore rightly be considered a sort of cultural legacy for future generations of scholars exploring issues related to the bioeconomy.
